  1. I have the pleasure of working with Dr. Brian Wansink, Director of the Food and Brand Lab at Cornell University and author of the book, “Mindless Eating: Why We Eat More Than We Think.”

    The suggestion to eat on a smaller plate is one of the best ideas. Dr. Wansink, with the team at Mindless Products, LLC. designed “thinware” dish sets. These plates and bowls are color, shape and design specific to encourage less eating with total satisfaction. Not all small plates work. There is a definite formula to be followed to make a person feel satiated. Like you mentioned, calorie cutting does not have to be painful. Small steady changes win the race!
